Activity Instructor and Camp Host (Full Time)
Totara Springs Christian Camp is based at the foot of the Kaimai ranges just out from Matamata. Over the past 50 years Totara Springs has grown to be an amazing camp for school groups, churches, family groups and children in particular.
We are seeking a senor instructor to participate in the delivery of adventure activities, hosting of groups, sporting activities and assisting with holiday camps. An ideal candidate would have experience in the instructing of rope based activities such as Rock Wall, and Abseil although training can be provided. Applicants will need to be physical fit and be willing to work on weekends on a rostered basis.
Totara Springs is a Christian ministry and therefore we ask that applicants who apply are comfortable being in this environment. If you are enthusiastic, enjoy the outdoors and looking for a challenging but rewarding role then this may well be the position for you.

Totara Springs Christian Centre welcomes applications for our internship programme which runs in partnership with Pathways Bible College.
This is a government-approved tertiary course, so study and assessments are part of the internship. For school leavers with a minimum of NCEA level 2 and 17 years plus
As in intern at Totara Springs you will be based in our ministry team helping to prepare and run our children's camps. You will also get to experience other areas of camping life like running activities with our instructors, doing food prep in the kitchen, and help our property team make camp look beautiful.
