Team Leader - Activity Instructing and Hosting
Totara Springs Christian Centre is nestled at the foot of the Kaimai Ranges, just minutes out of Matamata. Over the past 50 years Totara Springs has grown to be an amazing camp for school groups, churches, sports, family groups and children. With over 15,000 clients attending camp each year it has become one of the premium Christian camps in NZ.
We are seeking a person to actively lead and manage a diverse team of up to 10 staff. The role involves activity instructing, camp hosting and participating in the delivery of the Centre’s programmes. The successful applicant will oversee the Centre’s compliance of outdoor regulations, safety management and all activities. The applicant would ideally hold current qualifications or equivalent experience in high ropes, rock or abseil. The role is part of the wider ministry of a Christian camp and therefore you will be an active member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. If you are ministry focused, enthusiastic, enjoy the outdoors and looking for a challenging but rewarding role then this may well be the position for you.
